Photographing Wedding Dresses
I get many requests for information on shooting white wedding dresses. "How do I expose? For the white of the dress, or the skin tone"?
Anna and I have just returned from shooting 35 designer wedding dresses for a leading wedding magazine and we were faced with this challange 35 times.
If you can give me a bit of time, I will do a "How too" and share some of the tricks I use for these type of pictures.
For the meantime, I have posted a few shots we did that you can look at. All these pictures were shot by taking a reading from the background and by using fill-in flash and reflectors to light the bride to the same reading..
One of our models was a beautiful black girl and some shots of her required a PhotoShop technique to balance the tone between skin and dress.

These few pictures are in the Gallery under WEDDINGS, or you can click on ALP Wedding Dresses
